I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and found myself in Cleveland, TN after following a few family members to Lee University. At Lee I worked my way through the science department earning a B.S. in Chemistry. Along side undergraduate studies I took on soccer as a hobby and played my junior and senior year for the Flames. Soon after graduation I applied and started teaching chemistry at a local high school, Walker Valley. While teaching I was also enrolled in graduate studies in education where I earned a Master's of Arts in Teaching in the summer of 2010. My focus at Walker Valley High has been to use my experience to help motivate and educate students while providing what knowledge I have to promote and improve the American education system. I love science and am very passionate about what I do. I can only hope to pass this love and passion onto everyone around me.
